I am a lifelong learner and passionate, devoted educator. In 2021, I was honored with a top teaching award at my university. I have also spent much of my life engaged in community and service work.

Originally a farm girl from upstate New York, I have lived and worked in numerous U.S. cities, as well as in Nigeria, the South Pacific, and Montreal. I now live in beautiful Atlantic Canada. During my free time, you will find me walking outside and exploring, hiking, gazing upon the Atlantic Ocean with awe, or gardening.
